Informed sources tell Human Rights in China (HRIC) that Zhejiang eviction petitioner Liang Liwan (梁丽婉) has been released from police custody this morning at 11:00 am, Beijing time. She was reportedly threatened but not beaten in detention. Liang was first detained by police on September 23, 2009.
