The hospital diagnosed his condition untreatable and moved him to the mortuary. Later, however, he was found still alive and his family was notified. Due to a lack of money, his family could not let him stay at the hospital and his brother-in-law took him back home to Hebei Province. There, again due to lack of money, he received inadequate treatment and his exposed intestines were found to be putrefying. When he could no longer bear the pain, he committed suicide by hanging the day after the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. | ||||||||
