This article describes how Mao was sent back to RTL facilities within two days of being granted medical parole. Anhui Province’s RTL facility officials sent Mao to her residence in Shanghai on February 22 because she suffers from Level III high blood pressure. However, after only two days, the same RTL facility issued a notice to terminate Mao’s medical parole, and for her to again return to the RTL facility. The reason was because the Shanghai Public Security Bureau “discovered Mao participating in illegal activities irrelevant to her medical parole.” According to Wu’s article, “Mao Hengfeng had no time to even think about any such illegal activities,” and yet was sent back to the RTL facility. In conclusion, Wu notes that up until now there has been no correspondence from Mao, and makes an urgent appeal for everyone’s attention.
