According to HRIC sources, Liu Ping ( 刘萍) , who was indicted in July for “illegal assembly” (非法集会) , has been charged with two new counts. The new charges are “gathering a crowd to disrupt order in a public place” (聚众扰乱公共场所秩序罪) and “using a cult to damage enforcement of the law” (利用邪教组织破坏法律实施罪).
