中国人权:当局重判刘萍等三人

今天,江西新余渝水区法院对三名呼吁官员财产公示的维权人士作出判决:刘萍魏忠平被以寻衅滋事罪、聚众扰乱公共场所秩序罪和利用邪教组织破坏法律实施罪,分别判处有期徒刑六年六个月;李思华被以寻衅滋事罪判刑三年。该案于2013年12月3日至5日进行了三天的庭审。

中国当局虽然声称反腐倡廉,但却对以行动起来响应的民众进行严厉打压。今天的判决是自2013年镇压新公民运动以来最重的判刑,刘萍和魏忠平的刑期超过了对新公民运动的主要倡导者之一许志永所判的四年。

刘萍的女儿廖敏月原来曾劝阻母亲的维权活动,今天在旁听判决后对中国人权说:“今天我要告诉大家,推动中国民主宪政是大家的事,不能再保持沉默,我们一定要支持他们,一定要站起来,拒绝冷漠!”在法庭判决两个小时后,廖敏月的微博帐号被关闭。

刘萍等三名维权人士于2013年4月被拘留,之前,他们曾在街头发表演讲、散发传单、打横幅,积极呼吁官员财产公示,要求反腐。法院对刘萍和魏忠平判处“利用邪教组织破坏法律实施罪”是指控刘萍在网上张贴了一名法轮功人员被迫害的信息,而魏忠平则是因在通过网上聊天工具Skype接受境外媒体采访时向法轮功的创始人李洪志拜年。

这一次判决引起了国内律师和新公民运动网站的强烈反弹,以下是一些摘录:

刘萍,原江西新钢设备材料公司工人,2009年12月下岗退养后,开始为带薪休假和享受加班工资而维权。她和同厂职工魏忠平曾于2011年以独立候选人身份参选渝水区人大代表。李思华,原新余市委党校教师,当局指控他虚报注册资本、虚假出资和行贿罪而判他8年徒刑——他坚持指控毫无根据;于2010年获释。
