蔡咏梅:一个不能回家过年的人——想起了姚文田先生(图)

农历年是华人社会最重要的节日,也是合家团聚的日子,回家过年是所有游子一年最大的心愿,但不是所有的人都能返回温暖的家与家人团聚。在这个日子,我想起了姚文田先生。他就是一个不能回家过年的人,而他不能回家过年已有三年,2017年的新春他也将与家人远隔,在东莞石龙镇新洲监狱的铁窗囚禁中凄凉孤独地迎来鸡年的第一天。

姚文田是一家小出版社晨钟书局的老板,因为准备出版中国异议作家余杰《中国教父习近平》一书被劝告而不顾后,在2013年10月被人设陷阱在深圳被捕,2015年5月被深圳法院以“走私普通货物罪”判刑十年。我得以认识姚文田,是因为先认识他儿子姚勇战。姚勇战在89年北京学运时是上海复旦大学学生运动领袖,为六四天安门屠杀后唯一被捕的香港学生。儿子陷落黑狱的命运想不到也会降落到父亲身上。

了解案情和姚文田为人的都知道,姚文田和他的儿子有同样的民主理念,他创办出版社不是为了赚钱,和一些靠卖政治八卦书图利的书商不同,他是为了帮人表达政治异见。他二十年来出版了不少这样的书籍,比如北京流亡学者张博树有关中国民主转型的论述著作和香港政治评论家桑普的两部政治评论集等。

过于热忱的姚文田帮朋友出书,很少顾虑经济效益,也不为蚀钱担心。他曾为独立中文笔会和笔会会员出了21本书,包括一套《独立中文笔会文库》。他甚至雄心勃勃说要为每一位会员出一本文集,完全不考虑这些书是否能够卖出回本。记得他曾对我侃侃大谈这类不切实际的计划,我则大泼冷水,劝告他要好好考虑一下成本效益,毕竟他不是有钱人,只是一个勉强能维持生计的斗升小民。但劝归劝,他依然如故,热情不减。

可以说,姚文田这个案是百分之一百的政治迫害和对出版自由的打压,他是为信息自由付出牺牲的真英雄,但遗憾的是相比铜锣湾书店事件,姚文田的遭遇没有得到舆论应有的关注。当然也有热心的港人伸出援手。姚文田被判刑后,我有次遇见林国璋牧师,林牧师要我帮助他联系姚文田的太太,说今后姚太太上大陆探监,他可以陪同她北上,给姚文田家人一些精神上的支持。

姚文田被捕时已72岁高龄,有心脏病和哮喘病的这位老人已坐了整整三年的监牢。在鸡年到来合家团聚享受年夜饭的欢乐中,在人们烟花、贺喜的喧声中,大家是否会想得起这个在监禁中盼望自由、盼望回家过年而不得的白发老人?
