江棋生公开信抗议王有才遭逮捕

异议人士江棋生发表给中国政府的公开信,抗议谴责长期关押王有才后又进一步加以逮捕,要求中国政府尊重人权和依法立即释放王有才,中国人权支持江棋生的呼吁,希望中国政府接受容纳不同声音,不得对江棋生也进行迫害。

中国人权从国内获知,杭州公安部门於 8 日下午 3 点通知王有才的妻子胡江霞,王有才被依据涉嫌煽动颠覆国家政府罪正式逮捕后,各地闻讯的异议人士皆感气愤,著名异议人士江棋生则代表这种认识,发表致中国政府的公开信。江棋生在公开信中指出,说王有才涉嫌煽动颠覆国家政权,是不能成立的,依然是以言治罪。王有才申请注册中国民主党,公开表达不同的政治观点和主张,不过是和平的非暴力的行使言论自由的权利。公民有和平表达自己政治主张的权利,也有批评现存政治制度的权利,以这样的言论定罪,违犯中国宪法所保护的言论自由,以及国际人权公约“公民权利和政治权利”第十九条,所以是践踏人权,是政治迫害。这种情况,是中国几千年来以言治罪的继续,在即将进入 21 世纪的时候,还要坚持言禁、恶意用权,完全违背世界主流文明。中国主席江泽民,还有中国的主要官员和发言人,近来多次表示要加入重要的国际人权公约,这是认同国际主流文明和人类价值的,中国民众和国际社会都表示欢迎。但是,对中国来说,重要的不是说了什么,而是做了什么,对於所做与所说相反,必须明确指出并强烈反对。所以,在长期关押王有才后,又进一步以莫须有的罪名对他加以逮捕,江棋生表示要强烈抗议和谴责,并且要求中国政府无条件的立即释放王有才。

中国人权支持江棋生的呼吁和要求。正如江棋生所说,将批评现存政治制度,冠以涉嫌煽动颠覆国家政权,是中国以言治罪的继续,是对宪法的违背,对人权的践踏。政府的这类行为,只有民众起而抗争,象江棋生一样为了维护他人的权利而说话,才能逐渐形成遵守法律、尊重人权的社会政治形态。同时,中国人权要求中国政府能够接受和容纳不同声音,不得对江棋生也进行迫害。
