Searching for Hu Shigen, Part 1

October 19, 2015

On July 10, 2015, Beijing dissident and Christian Hu Shigen, along with Liu Yongping and Ge Ping, disappeared as they prepared to participate in a church gathering. Nearly 100 days after the family retained a lawyer to report the case to the security authorities, the only answer given by the police at the Dewai police substation in his home district was: We still have not found him. Since Liu Yongping and Ge Ping had already been criminally detained by the Hexi branch of the Tianjin Public Security Bureau for “picking quarrels and provoking troubles,” Hu’s lawyer went to Hexi District Detention Center on October 24 to inquire about Hu, but he was informed that no such person could be found there.

答:胡石根;

离开预审支队后,突然有一念想闪现,记得有公安部的规定,拘留后无法通知的情形包括——不讲真实姓名、住址、身份不明的;
