A Letter to Friends

May 10, 2021

At the request of Ding Zilin, a founding member of the Tiananmen Mothers, a group of survivors and family members of the military crackdown on 1989 Democracy Movement, HRIC posts her letter below. Ding Zilin extends her deep appreciation for international support and humanitarian assistance for the group over the past three decades. With the passing of many group members, and as the children have grown up and many of the families have weathered the most difficult times, she also feels that such assistance is no longer needed.
